The Titanium retainer is made of 6Al-4V, ASTM B348 will increase the limit of valves crash.
Especially on Lifan 150 and on all engines with racing camshaft.
 
The crash limit of valves occurs mainly in too hight deceleration during downshifting.
It is a meeting between valve and piston that still causes major damage to the engine.
